The first colored pencil with A·B·S -
STAEDTLER colored pencils will soon have a white protective coating

When children color, the colored pencil has to be able to stand up to a lot of punishment!

Kinderen

When they really get going in earnest, they can push down too hard and the occasional pencil can go flying.

The consequences are broken and sometimes even unusable leads.

To get really bright, rich colors, a lead has to be exceptionally soft which also makes it more prone to breaking. In order that coloring fun doesn’t have to slow down or come to a halt, STAEDTLER came up with a new idea:

The first colored pencil lead with integrated Anti-Break-System (A•B•S) promises uninterrupted creativity.
The lead is surrounded by an innovative white protective coating. It is hard and robust, and makes the soft colored lead up to 50% stronger and increases break-resistance by 30%.

A•B•S

The protective coating forms a white ring around the visible lead tip, protecting it better from breaking.

By this ring, one also recognizes right away that it’s an innovative STAEDTLER colored pencil with the extraordinary A•B•S protective coating.

Colored pencils will be especially needed on 6 May, the World Kids Coloring Day.

On this day, all children around the world will be called upon to draw and color many lovely pictures and sell them for a good cause.

All colored pencils from STAEDTLER will soon be available with this innovative protective coating.
