World Kids Coloring Day 2009 - Recap

 

We are pleased to report a very successful event of our second
World Kids Coloring Day!

In our efforts to help enrich the lives of young students through coloring
STAEDTLER, INC. held coloring events throughout the USA on May 6, 2009.

STAEDTLER invited more than 80 schools to sign up for this great event and to participate:

This year's theme for World Kids Coloring Day addressed “our earth - our universe,” and was supported with lesson plans on the topic of astronomy.

Kids across America celebrating the 2nd World Kids Coloring Day

 

 

We enjoyed spending time with the teachers and administrators and watching the children focus on their artistic creations.

Each school hosted their own event to color and to sell the children's artworks.

The money generated through the sale was donated to Save the Children's Rewrite the Future Project, whose primary focus is to provide education and hope to children in conflict areas around the world.
